Highlights

New feature

We have done some work on the System tool. For example, we have added two new tabs:

• A system information tab to the System tool. This tab details information about your PC components. As always, it will be improved upon in future versions.
• A files tab. You've probably had the issue that you wanted to rename or delete a file, but that didn't work because Windows kept telling you the file was locked by some app. In the Files tab of the System tool you can now open that file to check which (background or faulty) apps have locked that file. And you can then close these.

  • Clipboard Paste
    • When copying part of a path, this path can now be pasted to a directory from the Quick Paste context menu in Windows Explorer. This will create the full path so it's possible to easily create multilevel paths at once, like c:\path1\path2\path3.

• System

  • Added Info tab that shows system information.
  • Added Files tab. In it you can open a file to check which processes lock the file.
  • Added memory usage metric per process.
  • Added disk usage metric per process.
  • Process sorting added by name, memory, CPU and disk usage.
  • Active processes are now shown at the top of the list with a different background color.
  • 'New Startup Monitor'-window now shows an image indicator if the app is running with administrator rights.
  • Clicking Search online in the 'New Startup Monitor'-window will now open Gemini AI to ask about the found item.

• Image Browser

  • Switched from Google Image scraper to a webpage-based interaction (as the scraper violated the Google terms and only caused 403 errors).

• Web Browser

  • Added Home button to quickly open New tab page.
  • Added Refrest button.
  • Added textbox to filter sites.
  • Added Launch store button when navigating a store URL like Steam or Epic. This tries to open the webpage in the desktop app.
  • When customizing web links (favorites), we added an option to customize the icon for the link. By default it will use the favicon.ico for a website.

  • Updated several core packages for the webbrowser and image editor.
  • Some UI changes to the default popup so a bit more text can be shown.

    • When syncing purchases from the Web Shopper, the popup will no longer automatically close. You can now close it by right-clicking.
    • After syncing purchases from the Web Shopper, the popup will show the found titles.

• Cleaner

  • Searching/filtering now checks group name too.

  • Searching/filtering now checks group name too.

• System

  • Searching for items online will now show a less intrusive web popup and use Gemini AI.
  • Improved perfomance and decreased CPU usage for Process tab and eliminated CPU usage for process monitoring if the Process tab is not active.

• Wishlist

  • Auto-imports Steam games periodically.

• Web Browser

  • Removed Edit checkbox as now all custom items have a Customize context menu.
  • Automatic webstore link generation improved.

• Global

  • Fixed a bug that caused the version check to be performed every 5 seconds instead of every hour.

• Gaming

  • General
    • Uninstalling a game by executing an uninstall executable should work again.
    • Purchase store should now be remembered correctly, also right after adding a game.

• System

  • Startup Monitoring will now properly be ran in administrator mode if set in options.
  • Startup Monitoring should now better detected new items.

• Wishlist

  • Removing items now works.

• Image Browser

  • Fixed Bing search.
  • Implemented dark theme for Google web image search.
