Highlights
New feature
We added the following features in this release:
- Many of us know the frustration of a heavily modded game being automatically updated, resulting in broken modded games after every update (Bethesda?). We added an option to block internet access for game launchers (like Steam) and/or the game itself during gaming (if playing offline games). This can help you halt updates you do not want. Keep in mind that this requires administrator rights for Unify and may not work for online games.
If you want to stop updates, make sure you also disable automatic updates for games in the game launcher (like Steam) itself so the launcher does not accidentaly update the game when starting it.
- A new Hardware monitoring tab is now available in System Tools, which allows you to check clock speeds, temperatures, and so on. Depending on your hardware, not all sensors will be available. To get the most information, administrator rights are needed. You have the option to run the System Tools with administrator rights, and run the core Unify instance without.
- In the Actions page in game settings, we added a Keyboard section. For now, this supports converting Hold keys to Toggle keys. This is useful, for example, for games that do not support toggle keys for walking and sprinting. Using this new Unify feature you can now convert such keys to toggles. You can now safely walk in such games without the risk of a repetive strain injury. Please report to us if a game does not work with this so we can investigate it.
Changes overview
Gaming

Backup
- Improved UI of task editor page and progress page.
-
Scripting
- Code
- OpenUrlInPopUp: the original URL in the popup browser that is set in its constructor (constructor URL) is now remembered, so when the reuse property is set to true when opening new URL's in a popup, the constructor URL of a popup is now also matched against the new URL, meaning that it reuses popup browsers that have the same constructor URL as the new URL. This fixes the issue that if the URL changes, an existing popup is not used.
-
Settings
- Now only one default websearch item is saved, fixing the bug that Quicky would not use your default websearch engine. Also, the default engine is highlighted in the list in settings.
-

- When passing a transfer to the main Unify instance, no longer will double transfer windows appear.
- Some minor bugfixes.
Web Browser
- Focus bug fixed. This bug caused immediate input (either by user or script) not to work, so you had to first focus manually on an input element before being able to type.
